Melissa Miller, PT, MPT, is a highly accomplished and dedicated physical therapist with a rich educational background. She completed her Bachelor's in Exercise Science from the University of Toledo in 1998, followed by an Associate's of Science in Physical Therapist Assistant from the Professional Skills Institute of Toledo, Ohio in 1999. In 2007, Melissa furthered her expertise by obtaining her Master's in Physical Therapy from the University of Findlay.
With her career beginning in 1993 as a therapy aide, Melissa quickly discovered her passion for therapy, which has only grown stronger over the years. Her areas of specialization include vestibular and orthopedic rehabilitation. In 2015, she became a certified vestibular rehab specialist and a certified fitter for the Balance-Based Torso Weighted Vest.
Melissa has also shared her expertise as an instructor for the Physical Therapist Assistant program at the Professional Skills Institute, and she continues to guest lecture, imparting valuable knowledge and skills to future clinicians. As an APTA Certified Clinical Instructor, she mentors PT and PTA students in the clinic. Demonstrating her commitment to providing the best care for her patients, Melissa became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Neurologic Physical Therapy in 2018.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Melissa is an active member of the Dendarah Court No. 10 of the Ladies' Oriental Shrine of North America in Toledo and serves on the Divan Team for the Zenobia Shriners. She is dedicated to supporting the Shriner organization in its mission to provide medical assistance to children. Outside of her professional and philanthropic endeavors, Melissa cherishes spending time with her family and friends, attending her sons' sporting events, and enjoying moments of relaxation together.
