Dan Sandy, PT, DPT

Dan Sandy, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist in the state of Ohio. He obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from The University of Toledo. Dan graduated in 2010 and has been with APRN since the start of his career.

Dan has practiced in multiple settings including home health, hospital, skilled nursing facility, and outpatient therapy. He has experience treating many different musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, vestibular, and balance disorders. He also has the unique opportunity to work specifically with the golf population whether it be in rehabilitation or simply to improve overall golf fitness. Dan’s interests are primarily in orthopedics, manual therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation. He enjoys the challenge of working with patients who suffer from problems involving the spine, pelvis, headaches, dizziness, and vertigo. Dan plans to attend continuing education courses in these areas throughout his career.

Outside of work Dan enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf, and watching college football. He is married to his wonderful wife, Melissa and has 2 daughters, Paige and Ava. Dan is very passionate about his profession and is eager to use his skills to help his patients get back to living and functioning at their highest level.
